Work Summary
I am a self-driven, hardworking, high school currently midway through my sophomore year at Baxter Academy in Portland, ME. Throughout my high school career I have been given many opportunities to work on projects revolved around S.T.E.M based learning such as Film Making, Robotics, Zoology/Ecology, and now Digital Media .
Why Baxter
I would like to say that I chose this school as a way to express a new and creative learning style that is unique to me. However I would be lying if I said that was the only reason. I picked Baxter for two reasons those being open campus, and Flex Friday. Open campus is important to me as it offers a lot more than just lunch and acts a lot as a recess time for students which can help clear the mind for the second half of the day. The other reason is Flex Friday I value this time every week as I can dedicate my time to work that I find enjoyable.

My Roles & Responsibilities
Co-Leader, Exploring the effects of captive environments on Ceratophrys ornata
This is my current project and has been in progress since July of 2016. This project investigates if variables such as humidity, type of plants, and food. affect the mental and physical well being of animals. More information can be found on out project page Here  http://experiment.com/baxter/
Head Designer, Tug of War Robot
This project was the first one I was ever involved in here at Baxter. While many agree that the pentathlon was a waste of time, I for one don't. I thought that the tug of war robot was an interesting competition and challenged the students to create new ideas and concepts for the sake of competition. Although I believe many of the students took this seriously and it seemed as if my group almost won by default.
Team Leader, YFI Productions
This project happened during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of my freshman year. Being team leader was a very difficult job mostly because convincing six other ninth grade boys to work together and to agree on one idea is no small feat. The main goal of this project was to create multiple short films and two longer films, by the end of the year we made seven short films, and only one longer well thought out one.
Head designer, Game Project
This latest project has been subject to much change throughout the year. at first this project was created for the purpose to create a top down shooter, which later shifted into a point and click adventure game. after many group meetings we decided to create a tabletop rp
g as it mixes well with our skillsets.
